1985 Formula One World Championship: Kyalami Circuit (Southern Sun Hotels South African Grand Prix). Nigel Mansell, the poleman, held the lead in the race, ahead of Piquet, Surer and Senna.
 
Mansell led to the finish, winning for the second time in a row ahead of team-mate Rosberg and Prost. For Williams it was the first one-two since the 1981 Brazilian Grand Prix.
