The Tyrrell P34 (P for project) was a Formula 1 single-seater car, the first and only six-wheeled car to participate in the Formula 1 World Championship. It is the most famous Tyrrel because of its unusual and original architecture.

The P34 was built and, after several tests, put on the track. The very narrow front track, as expected, improved corner entry compared to other cars, but top speed did not improve.
