The 2003 Rally Australia (formally the 16th Telstra Rally Australia) was the tenth round of the 2003 World Rally Championship. The race was held over four days between 4 September and 7 September 2003, and was based in Perth, Australia. Subaru's Petter Solberg won the race, his 3rd win in the World Rally Championship.

 

They flew overseas for the Australian rally, where after a good fight Petter Solberg got the better of Sébastien Loeb, and both of them made a strong comeback in the title race, which still saw Richard Burns leading the World Championship, finishing third in his Australian trip. Fourth and fifth place for the other two Citroën cars of Colin McRae and Carlos Sainz, who scored crucial points to keep the French manufacturer in the race for the Constructors' Championship against their Peugeot 'cousins'.
